Design a cover which reflects your personality. The cover of your journal must include your name and class period number.
You should choose colors, images and designs that reflect who you are.
You must use a minimum of 3 different media.
1st 9 weeks Journals:
Each entry must include a minimum of 10 words per page and at
least 3 journal techniques. You
must use an entire page and may choose to use 2.
1. Create an entry based on a
person who has inspired you.
Utilize 3 techniques including a watercolor technique, a cut out and
text. You should list in a
creative way at least 5 things about that person revealing why they inspire
you.

Choose a song that you like.
(It must be school appropriate.)
Design a page inspired by that song. Include at least one paragraph of lyrics and at least 3
other techniques.

On the bulletin board, you will find several quotes about
color. Choose one of the quotes or
use one of your own. Write the
quote on your page and then create an entry that uses color to create a
statement. You must use a minimum
of 3 techniques including a marker wash.
